• Reports are automatically required for committees primarily formed to support or oppose candidates or measures on the November 5th ballot.
• State candidates not on the ballot must file if they make contributions or independent expenditures of $500 or more related to the November election.
• State and county general purpose committees must also file if they contribute or spend $500 or more in connection with the November election.
